Want to raise money for a good cause?  Then grab those tennis shoes and join the “Run, Walk ‘N’ Roll” event benefiting the Friends of Disabled Adults and Children (FODAC).  This event is a 5 mile race or 2 mile walk routed through Stone Mountain Park.  Participants of all ages can walk or roll through the course.

While attending this years event, stop by and meet Aimee Copeland,  the young lady who tragically lost both of her hands and feet as a result of a malfunctioning, homemade zip line.

Help someone turn tragedy into triumph by supporting this year benefit and register for this worthy activity.

The Date:  May 4, 2013
Door Open:  Registration 7 am/Run 8 am/Walk and Roll 9 am
Ticket Price:  $25; $50 registration includes a race t-shirt and one-day pass to Stone Mountain Park. (Children 5 and under are free.)
Contact Info:  770-491-9014

Grab those strollers, lace up those walking/running shoes and come out in support of FODAC.  At Southern Oaks Apartments, we would love for you to share on your community FaceBook  page what worthy causes your support.
