For all the music lovers here at Southern Oaks Apartments, the countdown is on for Music Midtown 2015, MM2015-logo-2-300x180scheduled Sept. 18-19 at Piedmont Park. This year’s lineup features Elton John, Drake, Van Halen, Sam Smith, Lenny Kravitz, Billy Idol and others. Need more reasons to enjoy two days of great music, here are 5:

  1. Held on the largest green space in Atlanta: Historic Piedmont Park will provide the setting once again for Music Midtown. With lush green landscapes, expansive tree lines, and the Atlanta skyline as the backdrop, what better place to enjoy two days of music with thousands of your closest friends?
  2.  Midtown 2015 is the first time that occasional Atlanta resident Elton John will perform a full concert in Piedmont Park.

  3. If you get tired of walking around the different venues, new seating is being set up so kick back and lounge around on newly added hammocks.

  4. Great food and beverage options are still available  from some of Atlanta’s great restaurants. Beverage stations, street trucks and other festival food favorites will be located throughout the site, including vegetarian and gluten-free options.
