There are many spooky things to do in Stone Mountain for Halloween but none may be as frightening as the 27th Annual Tour of Southern Ghosts.

Enjoy this Halloween event near Southern Oaks.

This local tradition tells the ghostly tales of the haunted trails of Antebellum Plantation. Every night of the week, a different cast of storytellers tell their own blend of terrifying and humorous stories of Southern life that feature spirits of the past. This means that return visitors can enjoy a different experience on subsequent nights.

The Tour of Southern Ghosts is also family friendly; none of the enjoyment at Stone Mountain is inappropriate or too scary for young children.

Even better, proceeds of the Tour benefits ART Station, a non-profit center for promotion of quality programming and support for Southern artists.

The Tour also operates on Halloween night, so it makes an ideal location to enjoy the spirit of the evening with Southern flair. We recommend purchasing tickets in advance as these tours will sell out quickly.

Visit the official website for advance tickets, additional information, as well as a video preview. A Happy Halloween to all of our residents at Southern Oaks!
